1. Don't send any money, bank account info, your name, your address, Social Security number or home phone number.
2. Don't reply.
3. Report the email to the FBI..they have a cyber crimes unit that goes after scamers that do this.|||it's a scam....spam it|||did you get this email because of an action that you took or did it just randomly appear usually if its to good to be true it is and there just trying to get your info so they can drain your credit and bank account|||Definitely a fraud and scam. Best advice is report it as spam, to get the address blocked...................but...........
these scams come a variety of approaches.
If something seems to good to be true, 95% it is a scam.|||There is no risk actually. Provided you do not send them anything specifically money. As with your bank account, I have consulted a local bank manager for my own case which is identical to yours and the answer was my account is totally secured.
