Used Xbox 360 license transfer?

Ok so Im planing on purchasing an xbox 360 on ebay that comes with some games and DLC the original owner purchased via marketplace he might not be including his Gt but as long as the xbox owns the license to the games it will work right? but what if i decide to buy another xbox later on will i be able to transfer the license to the new xbox or will i need his info or Gt or will the content not work at all? and if he doesn't include his Gt would he be able to transfer the license back to his Gt rendering the content i have of his useless?


i know that on the license transfer FAQ says that you can just Download content from the account history after license transfer but in this case i would be transferring it via transfer cable or usb cuz is faster or do you have to re-download it again in order to complete the license transfer ? but that's if the above is possible





also i guess as a bonus question what if i have 2 xboxe's 2 acc with different content account A is on xbox 1 account B is on xbox 2 can i transfer license from A to xbox 2 and still keep account B licenses? if it helps the scenario would be the above questions

This doesn't apply to some map packs though. Yes, the seller can transfer the license back to their own console whenever they wanted to because it belongs to the person who has the gamertag it was bought under. Since you do not have access to the gamertag, you wouldn't be able to transfer the licenses to another 360.





You can transfer licenses to another 360 and it won't affect the existing licenses on that second console, but in your situation, you won't be able to move them because you do not have access to the account. Keep in mind that manipulation of the license transfer process is against the Xbox Live terms of use and can get you banned if caught.|||Buying his 360 with the licenses on it to get free games is against the terms. The games are supposed to go where the gamertag goes.
