i recieved an email from barcalays bank of uk saying that i have won a prize amt. that is some million dollars and to get that money i have to pay an international exchange transfer money charges of rs 24000 then within five hours the winning amt will be transfered in my personal acc. via reserve bank, plz suggest me is it true n shall i pay the money to it?|||Definate scam, dont send them anything, pass the email on to your local police|||Did you buy any lottery ticket, which had prize like this? If the answer is no, how can you win any such amount?

This is really a fraud. Earlier, it was Nigerian fraud. Now the fraudsters are taking names of some legitimate and well-known companies. Some have received mails like Yahoo MSN Lottery. But in reality, none of these companies (Yahoo, Microsoft or Barclay's bank) deal into any such lotteries. I am pretty sure you don't have account with Barclay's bank. Even then, if you want to check, you can inquire at any nearby branch of the bank, or ask at their customer care phone number or email ID. You will get to know the status of this prize.|||Do you have rs24000 to throw out the window or down the toilet? If you do, go ahead and believe the scam email you got and send them the money.

If however, you use your noggin, you will know this is not real, you never entered a sweepstakes, and you will NOT be getting money in you bank account in 5hours LOL

DO NOT DO IT, IT IS A SCAM!|||hahahahaha..................

foolish guy... how can u trust these things???

i have got that type of massage more than 10 times. these people are mainly from African country. they r always try to trap people from different places all oner the world. they took the name of any European or American famous company %26amp; do this..

Never get trapped in this.|||Don't be ridiculous. It's obviously a scam. Ignore it, block the email address %26amp; forward it to barclays bank to investigate it.|||It is a scam. Do not reply or click on any link. All you need to do is report it. (My ISP has a link that I can click to report spam/scam/phishing mails).|||dont be silly its scam forward it to barclays security for them to investigate it

do not give them any of your bank details they will take your money and you will get nothing in return
