If you did authorize the gym charge, then go to the bank and beg forgiveness and see if they will waive the overdraft fees. If you did not authorize the gym charge, go dispute it, and also beg forgiveness, etc...
Good luck. In the future, try to keep at least $100 in your bank account as a cushion so you don't get into these fees. Or, use cash if you don't want to keep close tabs on your bank balance.|||You need to contact your bank and tell them if they can not properly explain their charges, then you want the money put back into your account.|||Sounds like World Fit has charged your account. It very well could be unauthorized. This happens a lot when buying things online, over the phone, and just about any time you ever sign up for some kind of "free trial". Go to your bank. Request the card be blocked and reissued with a new number. They will also assist you with disputing the charge. If it is a Visa Debit Card then you absolutely can get your money back. Working in a bank, I see this way too often and as long as you don't go in there screaming and cussing then they will believe you. Happens all the time.|||Hmmm... Sounds like stuff Chase bank would do. If you didn't overdraw your account, then perhaps someone has stolen your identity or phished your account. Contact your bank.|||Think, did you answer *any* ad on the internet for a "free product" like ACAI berry? Or Teeth Whitening? Or a Public Opinon Poll? These ads are common on the net, particular FaceBook.
If you did, you fell into the clutches of a negative opt-out company. In with your "free product" you overlooked fine print that said if you did not opt-out, you agreed to be charged $X. (Some of these are per month!) The fine print will also say that they can bill you $X anyway they can, meaning if they can find your credit card, it's to the credit card. If not, to your bank account and last your phone bill.|||call your credit card company and see what all you bought with that card. and if there are things on there that don't look familiar then you know that someone had gotten a hold of of your credit
