i have a 3.75 gpa (36 credit hours)
my SAT score is 1980
i'm transferring from ACC (Austin Community College)- i'm going to do another semester here in the fall, but since i'm applying for the spring semester at UT (for UNDERGRAD), my application will have these current 36 credit hours. of course i'll try to get all A's in the fall, but i can't count on that helping me get in.
what do you think?
BQ: should i re-take the SAT?|||As a transfer student with 36 credit hours, your SAT score no longer has relevancy in the admissions game. Focus on maintaining a good GPA--similar to the GPA you currently have--and provide the admission committee with proof of achievement outside of the classroom (i.e. leadership in extracurricular activities, community service, a job, etc.). Other than that, I suggest you provide a letter of recommendation, if possible, from a college professor that knows you well. Oh, and DO NOT apply to the business, engineering, or architecture schools, if you honestly want to receive that acceptance letter. These colleges within UT are harder to get into as transfers than as freshmen.
Best of luck!|||It sounds like a waste of time
